This special 12-inch pressing marks the first physical release of the remixes of those two songs by Damian Taylor and Arcade Fire. The remix of “Sprawl II” can be heard in the dance motion-activated music video by Vincent Morisset, while the “Ready to Start” remix has previously only been available as a bonus download with the deluxe film-bundled version of the album.
The 12" will be available worldwide on April 21, in stores participating in Record Store Day. Support your local record store!
Footage we took (ourselves, with some also by Bec Rollins from Partners In Health) on trips to Haiti… March 2011 visits to PIH sites, February 2012 visits across the country (including PIH and Kanpe sites and Kanaval in Jacmel). The last little bit of singing is by Ti Zwazo, who works as a gardener for PIH. He opened for us and RAM when we played in Cange last year.
